Rebel Satori Press is actively seeking new and independent writers in certain specific areas listed below.

Rebel Satori is not currently accepting unsolicited manuscripts of fiction, poetry or non-fiction except as noted below.

We are looking for nonfiction works focussing on the categories of esoterica / occulture and speculative fiction: 

Esoterica / Occulture

  • Esoteric/Occult
  • Magick
  • Grimoire tradition
  • Witchcraft & Paganism

Speculative Fiction

  • Dark Fantasy
  • Steampunk
  • Interstitial Fiction
  • Surrealism

At the present time we are not accepting spiritual/literary fiction (except as specifically noted above) or poetry.

Additionally we are not currently reading submissions of LGBT material for our QueerMojo imprint.

When submitting a proposal, initial query letter, or completed manuscript, please remember that it may take up to three months for your material to be reviewed.

Please include with your submission:

  • Cover email including author information and brief description
  • sample chapters, a synopsis of the entire manuscript and a table of contents (if non-fiction).
  • Sample artwork

We only accept submission of materials electronically. Please contact us for submission address.

Ashé Journal

Ashé! Journal of Experimental Spirituality seeks submissions of original spiritual writing. We welcome academic articles, essays, fiction, poetry, photography and art.

Ashé welcomes submissions from both established and upcoming writers, artists and scholars. Previously published work is considered, especially if the original publication was not widely available. Include any previous publishing history in your cover letter. Please no simultaneous submissions.

Ashé is a multidisciplinary Journal that explores the diverse avenues of modern and post-modern spirituality. Each issue contains fiction, poetry, life stories, scholarly articles and original artwork that examine the ways individuals and groups push the envelope of spiritual expression, community and contemplative practice.

Ashé has no preference for any particular sect, practice, faith, denomination, creed or discipline. Fiction or novel excerpts may be up to 10,000 words, historical and scholarly articles 15,000 words. Six short or one long form poem may be submitted at one time. We accept both single and thematic portfolio submissions of photographs, paintings, drawings and computer images. Single, strong images may be considered for the cover.
